Today, we will continue working on our WebQuest. Do you remember what a WebQuest is?
WebQuest Example
Before we get to all the details, let’s first look at an example of WebQuest. You are basically creating a web document for students. The web document is meant to guide a student through a topic of your choosing (of course, it’s nice to offer them choices within your adventure as well).

WebQuest Sections
Your Webquest should have the following sections. The sections in grey were covered and section in red is the one we will cover today):
- Title
- Introduction
- Task
- Process
- Evaluation
- Conclusion
- Resources
Let's go over our lesson for today.
YOUR TASK FOR TODAY:
- Formulate goals/objectives of you WebQuest. For example:
- Objective: Identify key features of a screenplay.
- Question: What are the key features of a screenplay?
Recommendation: Try to have between 4-6 questions
- Identify/create an advance organizer for your WebQuest:
- Connect new information to what the students already know
- Provide organizational cues (ie, sequence of steps) to complete the task
- Describe end product or project that your students will complete.

- Friday is an open lab day to work on your WebQuest. Please check our website for instructions on what you should accomplish by Friday.
